More brides and grooms are looking for vegan options for their wedding menus, with one part of the US in particular noticing this trend towards plant-based delicacies.
Caterers in Maine have seen more and more couples looking for vegan options for their big day, and it’s reasonable to assume that this is the kind of trend that’s likely to be seen in the UK as well.
One wedding planner in the US state Catie Fairbanks-Cliffe revealed that “at almost every big wedding I did last year, we had vegan options”.
Another company that provides vegan wedding cakes for happy couples told the Press Herald that it’s a combination of more people choosing to follow a vegan diet, and a higher number of people with food allergies or intolerances.
Ms Fairbanks-Cliffe added that she recommends couples choose at least two vegan options for the passed hors d’oeuvres, as well as supplying an alternative charcuterie board that features hummuses and vegetables.
When you’re looking for wedding caterers in Lincolnshire, it’s always a good idea to speak to them about any dietary requirements you or your guests may have well in advance of choosing your menu.
This year’s International Wedding Trend report from Wedding Academy International also highlighted the growing popularity of vegan food options.
It also noted that couples are increasingly choosing to pare their bar offerings down to one cocktail or spirit, with the likes of whiskey and bourbon bars proving popular, as well as tequila stations making an appearance at weddings.Tags: wedding caterers Lincolnshire
